LIVE PHOTOS: Field Medic + Cavetown // Houston, TX

Date:

Robin Skinner, more well known by the name “Cavetown,” recently played a show with Field Medic at White Oak Music Hall in Houston on October 26th, 2019.

Kevin Sullivan, aka Field Medic, hit the stage in Houston with a small boom box and a few guitars by his side. For each song, he would put a cassette into his boom box, and it would play the backing tracks while he sang and played guitar. Despite this simplistic playing style, his show was very entertaining, and his music sounded amazing. His unique style and performance techniques intrigued me, so I decided to take pictures during his set and stay after the show to take a few portraits with him.

Cavetown played an equally fantastic show as well. The energy in the room could be felt from anywhere, and just looking around, you could see the excitement beaming from the faces of his fans. He opened with one of his most popular songs, “Hug All Your Friends,” and immediately, the crowd exploded with song. Everyone was singing along and enjoying themselves throughout every moment. I highly suggest you see him on tour!
