Live Photos + Review: Chase Atlantic // Boston, MA

Date:

Chase Atlantic brought the house down with a stellar performance when they came to Boston on July 22nd. The Aussie band consists of members Mitchel Cave (lead vocals), Clinton Cave (Guitar, saxophone, backing vocals) who are also brothers, and Christian Anthony (Rhythm guitar, vocals). The trio is fresh off the release of their second studio album Phases which was released in June. The album features hit tracks like “Heaven and Back”, “Angels”, and “Love is (Not) Easy”. This tour would be one of Chase Atlantic’s largest headlining tours to date so the anticipation was real and everyone was excited for it. Fans were treated to 16 songs that night with a majority being from Phases. Before they got to hear the new songs though the crowd got to witness an amazing performance from opener Lauren Sanderson. Lauren kicked off the night and brought fierce energy that got the crowd off their feet. It was finally time for Chase Atlantic to grace the stage and the crowd went crazy. The lights dimmed, fog began to show, and an instrumental played to which the drummer came out and played along to. After the instrumental the band ran out onto the stage one by one into the roar of the crowd. They opened up the night with “Angels” which made the crowd go crazy and scream back every word. They would follow that with “What U Call That” which was another favorite with the crowd and got them even more excited for the rest of the night. The band played a majority of the songs from Phases as well as songs from their 2017 debut album Chase Atlantic such as “The Walls” and fan favorite “Swim”. You could feel the electricity in the building from the screaming fans shouting all the lyrics to even some crowd surfers. The night was full of high energy, stellar performances, and memories to last a lifetime. It was definitely a show you didn’t want to miss out on! Check out our photos from this amazing show below and be on the lookout for our interview with Chase Atlantic coming soon in our August Issue!
