5 Seconds of Summer Release New Music Video for ‘Easier’

Date:

On Thursday, Australian rock band 5 Seconds of Summer released a new song and new music video for ‘Easier.’ This is the first song they’ve released since their hit album Youngblood, released not even a year ago.

‘Easier’ is about a couple who is not sure whether or not they should stay together. The song is an upbeat, lively song but it has a deep, somber meaning. The overall dark aesthetic of the music video represents the song perfectly and is beautifully made with a lot of imagery and symbols that reveal the meaning of the song. If you enjoyed Youngblood, you will definitely enjoy ‘Easier’ and hopefully this is just the beginning of what 5SOS will be releasing this year. This band is forever evolving in their sound and image, and they definitely introduced a new era of the band with this song.
