Date:

The rain and gloomy weather did not stop fans from waiting outside for iDKHOW at Bowery Ballroom on May 12th. The line in front of the venue wrapped around the corner as fans were highly anticipating this sensational duo’s performance.

Their Night Heat tour really brought in the heat on a chilly day as members Dallon and Ryan played songs such as “Modern Day Cain” and “Bleed Magic” from their debut EP 1981 Extended Play. The band incorporated songs from their former band the Brobecks to the setlist. In addition to these gems, they covered some throwback hits like Beck’s “Debra” and Hot IQs’ “Iggy Pop.” A personal favorite would have to be “Choke.” The insanely addicting melody coupled with its sadistic lyrics got everyone in the room dancing and singing along. Towards the end of the show, Dallon decided to get closer to the fans by entering in the crowd as they cleared a path for him to walk through. For the encore, iDKHOW hilariously took a jab at their opener, Superet when they played “Nobody Likes the Opening Band” until frontman Matt Blitzer appeared on stage with his own rendition of the song “Nobody Likes the Headlining Band.” Their stage banter was enough to get the audience laughing. The duo regrettably brought their show to an end with a slow tune “Boring” but despite the song title, their set was an enjoyable one indeed!
