ONES TO WATCH: Leeds and Reading Festival 2018

Ahead of the return of Leeds and Reading Festival this August Bank Holiday Weekend (August 24-26), we will be taking a look at this years jam packed lineup. With festival co-headliners featuring the incredible Fall Out Boy, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Panic At The Disco and Kings Of Leon we wanted to give you our recommendations of ones to watch.

#1: The Faim
The Faim
have had a busy 2018 so far supporting the likes of PVRISLower Than Atlantis and Sleeping With Sirens. The band will return to the UK & Europe later in the Summer for shows with Sum 41 before heading to Reading & Leeds Festival. All this whilst recording new music ready for the release of their highly anticipated debut album. This band will most certainly be a hit with the festival crowd.

#2: Post Malone
Following the huge success of his second album release Beerbongs & Bentleys Post Malone is sure to be a huge hit with the Leeds & Reading Festival crowds. Securing a spot on the Main Stage he will undoubtably be performing some of his biggest hits alongside some newer material. Check out Congratulations from his debut album Stoney below.

#3: The Kooks
The Kooks
will be returning to Leeds & Reading this year, ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new album titled Let’s Go Sunshine, set to be released on August 31st. Performing on the main stage the band will be sure to draw in a huge audience wanting to hear some of the bands new material alongside old favourites.

#4: Coin
American indie pop band Coin will be heading to the UK this August to play on the Festival Republic Stage at Leeds & Reading. The band have gone from strength to strength in recent years through music release and live shows they have now built up a large dedicated fanbase. #5: SWMRS
Another band hopping across the pond to perform at this years festival are the wonderful SWMRS. With their punk-rock and roll sound and great live stage presence, SWMRS will be sure to liven up the festival crowd. Be sure to check out the band this year on the BBC Radio 1 Stage.
