ONES TO WATCH: Slam Dunk Festival 2018

Ahead of the return of Slam Dunk Festival 2018 next month in Leeds, Hatfield, and Birmingham we thought we would give you the heads up on some of the artists to check out. Alongside the headlining acts are some great new and upcoming bands that are definitely worth checking out. Below our a few of our Slam Dunk ones to watch.

#1 BAND: Grayscale
Having recently supported As It Is on their most recent UK tour Grayscale will next return to the UK to play Slam Dunk Festival. The Philadelphia band have an infectious pop punk sound which can be heard in their 2017 album release ‘Adornment’. With their catchy, relatable lyrics, Grayscale are certainly not a band to be missed.

#2 BAND: ROAM
With a classic pop punk style it’s hard not to like ROAM. Their nostalgic sound combined with incredible stage presence most definitely makes this band a one to watch. The UK band will be returning to Slam Dunk this year having last played the festival in 2016. Check out their song ‘Playing Fiction’ below from their 2017 album release ‘Great Heights and Nosedives’.

#3 BAND: Palaye Royale
It is safe to say that Palaye Royale take huge influence from the golden age of the 1970’s. With their classic rock and roll sound this band are sure to go down a treat for the fans at Slam Dunk Festival. Check out their most recent music video for the song ‘My Youth Generation’ below.

#4 BAND: Stand Atlantic 
Having gained a dedicated following in 2015 following the release of their demo EP ‘A Place Apart’, the Australian Band, Stand Atlantic, have been able to grow their following by playing shows worldwide. The bands vocalist Bonnie Fraser has an incredible pop punk sound that draws you in immediately.

#5BAND: Woes
Having recently supported Neck Deep on tour, alongside currently playing headlining shows across the UK it is no surprise that the pop punk band have been snatched up for Slam Dunk Festival this year.  Check out Woes most recent single ‘High On You’ below.
