LA-based duo Coast Modern (Luke Atlas and Coleman Trapp) may have only released their debut full-length album earlier this year, but they’re already making waves. With over one million monthly listeners on Spotify, the electro-pop rockers have stolen the hearts of fans of bands like Grouplove and CRUISR, blending that signature west-coast feel with notes of indie rock and even a bit of hip-hop. The two met in 2013, both working as songwriters in SoCal, and eventually started writing and producing songs together. Their first single, “Hollow Life”, was released in 2015, and quickly began gaining traction. One year later, after the release of another single “Animals”, the pair found themselves performing at festivals such as SXSW and Life Is Beautiful, and serving as an opening act on tour with bands like The Wombats and Borns.
Their self-titled debut album was released in mid-July of 2017, and the band just announced a tour that will run from February to April of 2018.
