Ed Sheeran recently collaborated with Italian singer, Andrea Bocelli on Sheeran’s single, “Perfect.” Ed traveled to Italy where they worked together in Bocelli’s studio in Tuscany. Bocelli also added an orchestra to the song and it was titled “Perfect Harmony.” Ed, who has emphasized in his songs that he admires travel and different languages, had to learn his song in Italian in order to harmonize with Andrea Bocelli.
The use of the two languages in the song gives it a more diverse and different sound. Ed and Andrea also have very different voices and styles which adds an interesting dynamic to the song. After Ed Sheeran’s hiatus between album’s last year, has released multiple songs that are influenced by different cultures such as “Barcelona,” “Bibia Be Ye Ye,” and “Galway Girl.” During his break, Ed travelled in order to gain inspiration for his music and that has shown through in his most recent album and multiple music videos that were filmed in countries like Ireland, Austria, and Italy.
Check out the behind-the-scenes video here and the song is also available on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
