Pop-brother trio AJR has announced that they are pushing the release date of their debut album “Living Room” from September 30 to February 2015. Though they are not releasing the album quite yet, AJR has also announced they will be releasing a 5-track EP, “Infinity EP”, to be released on September 23, featuring their new single “Infinity”.

The band wrote a letter to their fans explaining the delay in release of their album.

“AJR Fans,

We have a lot of news for you, so we wanted to write you another letter. Over the last few months of touring, we’ve been writing like crazy (a lot of cool innovative stuff) and we have a whole bunch of songs that we want to put on our debut album, Living Room. Unfortunately, we don’t think we’re gonna have enough time to produce all this stuff before the release date, so in the meantime we’re gonna put out a brand new EP! It’s called the ‘Infinity EP’ (yeah, you guessed it, Infinity is our new single), and we’re stoked to show you guys another stage in the development of AJR’s sound. Expect Living Room to drop in February 2015.

Also! We’re gonna be putting out a bunch of new videos (originals and covers and maybe a webisode or 2), so you can look forward to that.

Finally, we’re going on a HEADLINE TOUR this fall. We will be posting all about the dates and ticket sales over the next few weeks on twitter and facebook…

We can’t wait to see you guys. Sorry about pushing Living Room a little. We really want to get it right. You only get 1 debut album. 🙂 Till next time!
– AJR”
